Key duties and Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining test automation project
• Test design, implementation, execution and reporting using: Java/Cucumber/Gradle/Jenkins
• Optimizing test automation coverage to improve and speed up production releases
• Maintaining test and project documentation
• Being proactive in improving processes and approach after getting familiar with business domain and flows
• Collaboration with developers, product owners and other team members involved in software delivery
• Help troubleshoot issues if automation can efficiently help in this activity
• Provide leadership to the other team members, stands as a mentor for new joiners
• Being up to date with market standards and best practices and incorporate modern solutions to daily work.

Requirements

• Proven advanced (4+ years) experience as automation QA with programming skills in: Java/Cucumber/Gradle/Jenkins for backend testing
• Sherlock Holmes's attitude - you investigate until you have no further doubts
• Ability to describe issues in a comprehensive way
• Familiarity with HTTP protocol and REST Webservices
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of SDLC process and automation QA crucial part in it

Additional requirements considered as significant assets for this position

• Experience in performance measurement & testing (with the use of performance toolsets)
