UK Compliance Manager

Job Description

Position Purpose

Being part of a rapid growing and evolving company within the online gaming industry and due to its growth, the company is now looking for a Compliance Manager. This role offers the right individual a great sense of responsibility working hand in hand with top management of the company.

The Compliance Manager will ensure the company is compliant with various regulations that impact the company’s operations in areas such as Problem gambling, Responsible Gaming, Policies and Procedures, GDPR, Audits, New Markets, Ongoing analysis of all aspects relating to its UKGC License and all upcoming changes and other Jurisdictions as required. The selected candidate which we will want with a strong Compliance Background will also be handling ongoing Due Diligence requests from third parties.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of regulations and internal policies
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify risks or non-compliance
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies
  • Assess future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
  • Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
  • Compilation and maintenance of reports, returns and notifications for stakeholders
  • Build and manage a sound relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Other duties as may be needed from time to time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role dealing with UK Gambling Commission
  • Excellent knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • The ability to apply legal and other provisions
  • A methodical approach to recording information and evidence
  • A high level of verbal and numerical reasoning ability
  • PML experience is considered as an asset
